Cushion For Contemporary Route B

This is a cushion that I have just made for my Contemporary Route B module at Uni....

It was based on fastening and buttons from the military, looking at them in detail....

I then made the design contemporary by adding colours from the Faux Real colour palette on WGSN....

Contemporary ceramics by Anita Pullan....This piece of work is called Maternal Memories....They are replicas of toys and clothing and she has added splashes of gold lustre to confirm their status as cherished objects....

A piece of ceramic by Clare Gage....Formed from hand woven fabrics and transformed into moulds and then turned into porcelain....Texture is highlighted by the delicately lit candles formed inside of the porcelain piece of work....

Summer Florals

We have a tree and some Clematis growing at the bottom of the garden in the most amazing shades of blue and purple........

Shanty Festival....Liverpool....7th May 2011....

Had a wander around Liverpool Docks yesterday......

There was a Shanty festival and just had to take a photo of the two women dressed as Lobster's!

I loved the yellow running men running along the steel girder.
